Prebid: Mandatory: 3/31 @ 10:30 am, will begin in Conference Room A/B at the OBH hospital, 174 First Avenue North, Ilwaco, WA 98624
Description:
The General Contractor (GC) selected will build a four-thousand six hundred and seven (4,607) square foot Express Care Clinic (ECC) – as delineated in the accompanying “Construction Document” set - will be attached to, and otherwise will be functionally integrated into, the current Ilwaco Medical Clinic (IMC) located at 176 First Avenue North, Ilwaco, WA, 98624. The ECC will include 5 exam rooms and one shelled-in patient care room, and the other components necessary to operate independently while being able to operate (to the extent feasible) as an extension of the current IMC/Rural Health Clinic, pursuant to Public Law 95-210 and any bona-fide modification of this public law - at the above noted address. These additional components include a lobby/registration area, (that will serve the ECC and the IMC), exam room pod nursing station, laboratory, medication room, IT closet, mechanical room, separate staff and patient bathrooms, provider offices, a breakroom and a meeting room.
The ECC will replace the current “Walk-In Clinic” that is presently housed in the IMC – and will also be used to provide primary care and specialty care services as space allows. Should some sort of local or regional “disaster” occur, where there would be a need for additional space to care for patients that do not require “Emergency Department” level care, the ECC can function as a space to where such patients can be triaged and treated.
On (or about) when ECC is completed, a phased renovation of the IMC will follow – which will update the current IMC’s floor plan (see the Bid Packet) and address its aesthetics (flooring, painting, …), reconfigure some space to increase patient access and the services provided in the clinic, and potentially address HVAC and other non-patient care related elements of the building (e.g. the current waiting room space).
This Scope of Work is not intended to be comprehensive. The successful Bidder will be required to complete all work required under the Contract Documents for the Contract Price stated in the Contractor’s Bid within the time required under the Contract Documents.
